Rezepte
Self-hosted, open-source recipe manager for your household and friends: one Docker image, SQLite, a cook mode for your phone, and an API and MCP server for AI assistants
Rezepte keeps the recipes of your household and your friends in one place: a single binary with an embedded web app, an SQLite database and your photos in one data directory. You invite people with a setup link, they sign in with a password or your sign-in provider, write recipes with ingredient groups and steps, tag and search them, and cook from a phone at the stove.

Getting started
Run Rezepte with Docker or as a binary and log in for the first time.
Features
Recipes, importing, comments, photos, tags and search, favorites, servings, cook mode, members, mail, editing rights and settings.
Operations
Where the data lives, backups, updates and reverse proxies.
API
The HTTP API behind the app, with a generated reference, and connecting an AI assistant over MCP.
Language
Each member picks English or German for their own account in Settings; a fresh instance defaults to English. This documentation, and its screenshots, show the English interface — the text quotes the same English labels, e.g. "New recipe".
